Can I meet my designer during this period?
Yes, you can meet them online. Our designers are equipped and trained to carry out much of the detailed design work virtually. The design processes will continue unless your project faces a blocker because of an in-person meeting or a site-visit activity requirement.
Can I start my interior designs now?
If you are looking to begin your home interiors design journey now, you can interact with our design experts online and discuss your ideas. As long as you have your floor plan that you can share with your design expert, you can get a jump start on the design process. Start by booking a free design consultation. By making the initial payment of 10% of the quoted value, your order can be booked. Post lockdown, our experience centres have opened and work at factories and sites have resumed. However, as per guidelines from local authorities, there may be a change in our working policies.
How will I decide the colours and materials without seeing them in person?
With our virtual interior design platform, SpaceCraft, you and your family can visualise your home in 3D, right from your living room. You can discuss and try out various colours, materials and finishes until you find the perfect match. What’s more, with each change, you can see the cost implications instantly.
Will the designers and HomeLane employees be available to answer my queries and doubts?
Yes, you can connect with our designer or your relationship managers anytime. All our teams are working from home and it is business as usual for us. You can call your HomeLane Project Manager or ping on the Customer Whatsapp Group to connect with the Project Manager, Community Manager, Design Partner or the Delivery Manager. Please allow the teams some time to respond, as there may be slight delays with increased inflow of queries.
Are your Experience Centers safe for a visit?
Our Experience Centres are open and we are continuing to take utmost care for the safety of everyone visiting the Experience Centres as well as our staff. We have ramped up the cleaning efforts in all our Experience Centers (as well as factories and warehouses) with frequent sanitisation and thermal screening of our designers, field staff (carpenters and support staff), and employees. Our Experience Centres have also been equipped with alcohol-based sanitisers and IR based thermometers – everyone entering the premises are being screened and asked to sanitize. We have also increased the frequency of cleaning high contact points, such as doorknobs, glasses etc. Our on-site staff are being screened regularly for symptoms and directed to maintain the highest sanitising standards.
All our employees have been issued guidelines and are being briefed on the best practices of personal hygiene and sanitation as per the World Health Organization. From the right way of washing hands to the usage of masks to symptoms of the virus – advisories are being issued regularly.

Can I book my home interiors with HomeLane remotely?
Yes. You can book your order with us and begin your interior design journey with us by making the initial payment of 10%. You can talk to our designers online and they will help co-create a design as per your requirements and floor plan. You can also see the designs in real-time from your home using SpaceCraft, our live 3D design software.
What about my project’s timeline?
We have started operations only in those locations where the lockdown has been relaxed and that are permissible by the Central and State governments’ directive. Based on further directives from the Indian government, our teams will continue to keep our customers informed.
Due to these circumstances, your project handover will be delayed. We will do everything we can to cover up on the lost time. However, we would request you to factor in 2 weeks of delay in your project handover, given the impact of the situation resulting in the stoppage of work. These delays will happen in all projects, irrespective of the phase they may be in design (10% – 40%), production (40% – 50%) or installation phase (50% to handover).
Will site measurement and masking continue as usual during this period?
Since the lockdown has been relaxed only in certain areas, site measurement and masking will continue only in zones that are permissible as per the Central and State governments’ directive. We have also put in place strict rules to ensure that the site visits are done in a sanitized and safe manner in these locations. This has been implemented in the best interest of your safety, the safety of our staff and the site.
These are challenging times for everyone, which is why we are doing our part to help prevent the further spread of the virus, while also supporting the needs of our customers and employees.
With the situation rapidly changing, we are constantly monitoring and continuing to take guidance from the government and health officials. We will adapt our efforts and responses as needed.
